When cyclone Carlos made itself felt on Darwin it was looking unlikely that this February Run Off tour would actually happen.
We were looking at moving the trip back a couple of weeks when Carlos made a turn south and the possibilities of the tour going ahead opened up again.
These possibilities then shut again with road closures and a heap of rain down the track but with a bit of patience and a wait and see the trip kicked off a couple of days late and with a big drive around the long way through Kakadu to Shady Camp.
Justin from Obsession was quietly confidant that after the big blow form cyclone Carlos the Barra would not disappoint.
He was on the money as the photos below show. Four over the magic metre mark and a heap in the mid nineties.
