This Half Day Heli Fishing Tour is for you.
When Heli Fishing Darwin you will experience a flight over wetlands teeming with wild life on your way to and from fishing spots. Waterbirds, crocodiles and feral pigs are usually all in abundant numbers most times of the year and the viewing experience is second to none.
Your half day helicopter fishing trip will head the the east of Darwin. Areas fished include the billabongs, barrages and seasonal floodplains in permit-only areas of the Mary River and Djukbinj National Park regions.
Morning & afternoon tours available.
Catch rates varying with the seasons with Feb-early May being prime time that said these trips can still produce all year round.
Provided is all fishing gear, soft drinks and plenty of cool water. You will need to bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and a camera.

Both small and large groups can all be catered for.
Please note: actual flight path plus the location and number of sites visited is subject to change and dependent on a range of factors including the package booked (allocated flight time), weather, tides, recent fishing success and customer preference.

It is a requirement of Northern Territory Parks that all interstate and international visitors obtain a Parks pass to access sites associated with our half day fishing locations. Helifish can apply on behalf of our customers however will incur and additional fee of $8 per Adult and $4 per Child (Child Age 5-17) for the day pass in addition to the packages retail price (Refundable if the tour does not go ahead).” This fee is only charged when undertaking a Half Day HeliFish or the Heli-Fish Pub-Crawl Combo.
